Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

We provide separate terms for each group we work with. Choose the terms that apply to you.

Customer Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to customers who purchase memorial QR plaques and create or manage memorial pages with Memonia (Memorial QR Plaque). By placing an order or building a memorial page you agree to these terms.

1. Our Service

We provide personalised memorial QR plaques and a hosted online memorial page that visitors can reach by scanning the plaque's QR code. You may add photos, videos, written tributes, music/audio and charity donation links to your memorial page, subject to these terms.

2. Your Content — Uploaded Media Disclaimer

The photos, videos, music and words you add are entirely yours — they are what make each memorial personal and meaningful. Because this content belongs to you and the people who loved them, Memonia doesn't create, own or claim any of it; we simply give it a beautiful, lasting home.

This applies only to media you upload yourself. Anything you choose from our own curated, licensed libraries — stock images, videos and music within the platform — is already fully licensed by us, so there's nothing extra for you to worry about there.

When you add your own content, we simply ask that it's yours to share — either your own, or something you have permission to use — so that every memorial we host is created with the right and respect to do so.

Out of respect for everyone remembered here, we also ask that content is kind, appropriate and lawful. To keep memorials dignified for all families, custom videos may be briefly reviewed before they appear publicly, and we may occasionally need to hold back anything that wouldn't be in keeping with the spirit of a memorial page.

3. Licence You Grant Us

You grant Memonia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and reproduce your Customer Content solely for the purpose of operating your memorial page and providing our services. This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted, except where retention is required to comply with the law.

4. Removal & Reporting

If you believe content on a memorial page infringes your rights or is inappropriate, contact us at support@memorialqr.com and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it. We may remove any content or suspend any memorial page that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or the law.

5. Orders, Payment & Refunds

Prices are shown at the point of order. Payment is taken at checkout (in full or, where offered, by instalment). Because plaques are personalised to your order, refunds on manufactured items are limited to faulty goods or our error; digital memorial services are subject to our refund policy, available on request.

6. Memorial Pages & Availability

We aim to keep memorial pages available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may hold a memorial from public view while custom media is under review.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memonia is not liable for any loss arising from Customer Content, from third-party links or embedded media, or from any interruption to the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
